Being born and living in Canada, I am so fortunate as a Vietnamese-Canadian. The good friends I made pushed me in the right direction. It is only good that I return the help I received.

For the past few days, I came up with the idea www.firstgenprogrammer.com (under construction). This website will be dedicated to helping build computing skills to first generation people. I will help newcomers like refugees and immigrants too.

As a first generation Canadian, I would like to start a YouTube channel discussing tech, computing and teaching programming too. By doing so, I intend to reach first generation Canadian audience. But I think my main audience may be Vietnamese as I am Vietnamese-Canadian as this is what people see first. I want to teach technology and teach how being Vietnamese may play a role in my life.
