Right to Repair – Part 2

I wrote an article on the Right To Repair a few months back.

It has been years and years that I have been hearing that ABC or XYZ companies refused to sell or make parts to repair their products for end users. It is not just Apple or Microsoft in the trying to reap the most profits by trying to sell you a new device every year.

The environment is of concern now. The initial creation of the product is causing harmful environmental waste. 

Increasing the longevity of the product will lead to less wastes.

Microsoft said it would make their products repairable making Apple follow suit.

The physical hardware is getting repairable but how about software updates cycle? How else will they make their massive profits for their shareholders? I guess making the most money is not the main concern nowadays …
